I’m starting and creating this private yet public blog with the intention to explore, express, and share my thoughts, feelings, and personal growth.
This blog represents a space where I can put things out into the open—but veiled to protect myself and my others—allowing me to practice, rehearse, and clarify my thinking and experiences.
I think of it as a cathartic and healing release but also a creative release.
It serves as a release, a way to let go and let out what’s inside me, with the hope that through this process, I’ll gain perspective and insight.
For me, it’s not just about self-expression; it’s about polishing ideas, synthesizing experiences, and gleaning wisdom from the things I’ve gone through. It’s cathartic, but also clarifying, and gives me the ability to speak about it in everyday conversations with more confidence.
Part of my vision for this blog is to create a space for reflection and healing and to glean wisdom from my experiences.
I’ve realized I need to be more open than I’ve been in the past for my own self, but I’m also mindful of the impact my words could have on others. This is one of the reasons I’ve chosen anonymity—it provides protection for both me and the people involved. I don’t want to hurt anyone unnecessarily, but I also want to explore deeper, raw thoughts. I see this anonymity as a mask that allows me to be more authentic, giving me room to work through my emotions without fear of negative repercussions.
In this journey, I’ve also started to explore using different mediums to express myself.
Ultimately, this blog is about freedom—freedom to process my emotions, explore creative ideas, and share them when and how I feel ready. It’s a personal workshop of sorts, filled with unfinished things and raw ideas that need time to grow, develop, and resonate with me. While this journey is deeply personal, I do hope that one day I can share it with my family, giving them a glimpse into the deeper parts of me and offering healing through understanding.
